Dentures

At Sara Cummins Aesthetics & Implant Dentistry, we want you to feel good about the way you look when you are smiling. We know this can be a challenge when you have missing teeth, and that is why we offer dentures as a restorative option. We offer two types of dentures to replace missing teeth:

  • Traditional Dentures
  • Implant Supported Dentures

If you are missing some or all of your teeth, we can use dentures to restore those missing teeth. The type of dentures that we recommend for you will be determined by your particular situation. We want to help you make the choice that is best for your smile!

Traditional Dentures

The traditional type of denture is custom fitted to your gums and jaw. It is secured by a dental adhesive to keep it from slipping when you are eating or talking. Traditional dentures need to be removed when you go to sleep for the night, and they are usually placed in a solution for overnight cleaning.

Implant Supported Dentures

Unlike traditional dentures, implant supported dentures are attached to titanium posts that are installed in the jaw. These types of dentures do not require an adhesive to prevent slipping because the implants hold them in place. Implant supported dentures can be either permanent or removable. Permanent implant-supported dentures do not have to be removed at night before you go to bed, and they can be brushed just like your natural teeth.

There is no need to live with the inconvenience of missing teeth! If you are just missing some of your teeth or all of your teeth, traditional dentures or implant supported dentures just might be the option to repair that gap in your smile.

If you have missing teeth, dentures might be an excellent restorative solution. Give us a call at Sara Cummings Aesthetics & Implant Dentistry, and we will provide you with the best denture option for you!
